Smoke and Feathers traditional by SirWendigo Smoke and Feathers traditional by SirWendigo
This is how the traditional version of this old drawing looks.
Next time I may use watercolors to darken the hair.
Nuvat is my OC.

Might I ask how well Copic markers work? I've been considering getting a few, but they're rather expensive...

i bought a set of 36 B ciao for much cheaper on amazon. they are still an investment though.. i am a beginner at using markers however i find them really fun to use! i recommend watching a ton of tutorials on youtube before you start using them to learn all the different tricks

Oh ok, hadn't even heard of those before, but I'll have to take a look. ^_^ Thanks for letting me know. And that's probably what I'll end up doing as I've never used these sorts of markers before either.

Well yes, but I had only wanted to know if they bled a lot or if they ran out of ink quickly.

They don't bled a lot, they're pretty good and the lines are clear. Better than pantone colors in my opinion.

I know you're not asking me but I have quite a few and they work amazingly. Get the right paper though, more marker paper, they blend better :) my suggestion is by a set of grey from dickblick.com. Use them to blend and get the feel of them. If you're more comfortable and still like them, then try to add more colors. Dickblick is the best place online (in my opinion) because they have sales on them sometimes and even when they don't they are still cheap. :) hope that helped a bit!
